Mrs Ormerod

Lancaster Castle Dungeons!

Welcome to our Beech Class page!

We have a very exciting half-term ahead of us where we will be exploring a History of post-war Great Britain including the 'Swinging Sixties.' We will be looking at a history of food during the British Empire in Design Technology and making our own British dish and we will be learning about the lifecycles of plants and animals in science.

We will be continuing to explore the land of Narnia with our class novel The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe which will inspire some further creative writing from our Beech children and continue to nurture their love and passion for reading; however, will also be investigating autobiographies and biographies.

PE will be on Wednesday afternoons this half-term; therefore, please can     you ensure children wear the correct PE kit on this day of the week.

We are looking forward to a productive, creative and happy half-term, infused with

inspiration, learning and fun!

Should you wish to contact us please do not hesitate to contact the office and arrange an appointment
