EYFS DISTANCE LEARNING TASKS

Monday 6th July 2020. 

Good morning Reception. Below is your home learning activities for this week. Please remember to take pictures of learning activities and upload them to Tapestry our electronic learning journal, if you are having problems accessing Tapestry please email me. If you need any more resources pens, pencils paper etc please phone the office or email me and I will get a pack together. 

 

Please find a list of useful free resources you can access at home to help support your child’s learning from home. I will also be posting home learning activities on Tapestry for you to do each day with your child. Once your child has done the activity then you can take a picture and upload it .

VOOKS

A streaming library of animated children’s storybooks. 

TWINKL

You will need to sign up and enter the code CVDTWINKLHELPS. On the Twinkl website, you will be able to select the EYFS tab at the top of the page and use a variety of free resources.

GO NOODLE

GoNoodle engages 4 million kids every month with movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. 

TOP MARKS

Top marks is a searchable site of thousands of quality interactive resources.

TATE KIDS

It has lots of art games for children to interact with.

OXFORD OWL

Free eBooks collection developed for children. Help your young child learn to read and love to read.

COSMIC YOGA

Yoga and mindfulness relaxation designed especially for kids. Used in schools and homes all over the world.

PHONICS PLAY

A site packed with interactive phonics games and resources to help children to learn phonics.

Watch as all the letters of the alphabet tell stories and make words using phonics play the learning game and watch clips.

NUMBERBLOCKS

Sing along and learn all about numbers with the Numberblocks

OXFORD OWL MATHS

Provides a variety of interactive maths activities.

TEACH YOUR MONSTER TO READ

Teach your Monster to Read is a website you can access, this covers everything from letters and sounds to reading full sentences. 

YouTube can be a great source of educational videos. Listening to the subscription channel Epic Phonics has a variety of videos we use during our phonic lessons. We also use Jolly Phonics songs to embed our learning.
